Equally you must be comfortable in generating your own business. That said, this is not an environment for those fond of a “HARD SELL” approach.

Only people with a strong degree of discipline and who are self motivated will succeed.

The Company

Chambers & McClay have specialised in writing Wills and Power of Attorney documents for over ten years. Founded by Caroline McClay we still like to think of ourselves as family business. Our head office is based in Nottingham and we currently support several representatives based along the south coast and the Midlands. A recent restructure has afforded us the opportunity to recruit Consultants (England and Wales). Wherever you live if you’re a strong candidate we want to talk to you.

The Market

It is widely agreed that at least 70% of the adult population of England and Wales do not have Wills.

Now we are not going to pretend that you will convert all 70% in your area because that’s seriously over stating the position, but consider this, there are compelling reasons why the following groups should make a Will,

• Unmarried couples
• Same sex partners
• Married couples on 2nd Marriages
• Anyone with children
• Couples planning for their retirement
• Elderly Couples owning their own home

Most don’t because they are blissfully ignorant of the consequences of not doing so.

Many are superstitious or, quite commonly, they believe it is a subject only for the elderly.

We will train you to feel comfortable in openly and honestly discussing what is to some, a taboo subject.

You will need to be tenacious, that’s for certain. But imagine the genuine reward in knowing that everyone you enlighten will have at the least saved their loved ones considerable heartache and in almost every case significant amounts of money too.

The Opportunity
 
Obviously your initial focus will be on lead generation.

We will give you a rounded knowledge of the subject so that you can discuss with potential leads their situation and where they are vulnerable without the protection of a Will.

Let’s be clear this will involve cold calling by telephone, or cold contact of some kind and not everyone reading this will be comfortable in doing so, but it is necessary and an essential part to establishing your business.

We will provide ongoing support throughout. We will enable you to hone  successful, and persuasive arguments that make appointments, and adapt them where changes in the Law affect our thinking.

We have existing brochures and are happy to discuss developing materials with you should that become necessary. As you would expect we have a website reflecting our services and free phone contact for clients.

We still cold canvas for business ourselves so we genuinely understand the process and will coach and guide you where necessary.

We have proven systems that have worked for us over many years.

We will train you to be able to take Will instructions from your clients having consulted with them and appraised them of your recommendations specific to their circumstances.

Those instructions together with their associated fees would be returned weekly to our head office Legal Team who will then prepare the documents returning them complete directly to your client, leaving you free to concentrate on developing your leads.

Our average sale price this year has been just over £200. It is certainly realistic working part time to make a sale a week minimum once established. If you are going to work full time a realistic average of 4 conversions a week provide a solid income base and time to lead generate whilst having fairly flexible time for a quality family life.

The truth is this can be as busy and as profitable as you can make it.

There are also opportunities for value added and secondary sale products. Plus referral opportunities are immense if handled correctly.

You can expect to see your initial investment in yourself returned quickly.

Perhaps we could ask for more of an investment, indeed others in our field do. That way, if you fail they have made money in just recruiting you.

That just doesn’t feel right to us.

Instead we believe if we invest in you our rewards will come consistently and steadily through the business you develop, that’s all we ask.
